Ashdown Forest
On Monday 16 May 2022, Periscope set out to explore the Ashdown Forest and gain first hand experience of the landscape that inspired A. A. Milne in the creation of Winnie-the-Pooh. We conceived our walk as a circular journey to cover various regions of the forest, looking to extract and interpret its unique character. This field research will inform our design approach for a new public park in London.
All photographs were taken on two analogue cameras - B&W 35mm, Colour 120 film.
