Create Your Own Acre

‘Create Your Own Acre!’ was a public model-making workshop facilitating design engagement for an extended public park in South Kilburn, London. The theme ties into the project narrative of a landscape inspired by the Ashdown Forest, and the associated fictional world of the 100 Acre Wood developed by children’s author A.A.Milne.

Children and young people were invited to develop individual landscape parcels, drawing and cutting out ideas, while prompted by a series of pre-cut templates. The parcels tessellate together to form a united landscape.

The completed models and conversations continue to influence our design decisions.
