This week the Mayor of London published the Old Oak development framework. We've been working alongside Gort Scott and Allies & Morrison for nearly four years to develop this work which will guide the future development of thousands of homes and new employment space around Old Oak Common HS2 station.
Water stories, brick kiln heritage, railside ecology, bio-remediation, active travel and good density will all play their part in remaking Old Oak as a green, connected and diverse place where everyone is welcome.

Periscope has been commissioned by Harrow Council and Friends of Byron Park to produce a Framework Plan for Byron Park. This new piece of work is jointly commissioned and will involve close collaboration with the Friends of the park, Harrow Council, Harrow Parks Forum as well as the Environment Agency and Thames Water. The process kicked off with a resident's consultation event in Harrow Leisure centre, almost 100 people came to have their say providing the design team with really valuable insight into their local area and their hopes for the park.

Concrete prototyping
We've been casting concrete for our latest project in Barking. This is the second prototyping phase using site won aggregates supplied by our client Barking Riverside Ltd. The tests aim to establish the performance of various aggregates including knapped flint, incinerator bottom ash and crushed concrete. The next test phase is a full-scale accelerated pavement test on site ahead of the project construction phase commencing in 2019.
